What is the dress code?

This year’s Ball is a Black-Tie event so we want to see you in your finest attire.

​

How much are the tickets and what is included?

The tickets this year are £115 per person

​

Your ticket includes a welcome reception with drinks, a delicious 3 course meal, a full evening of entertainment, including a super band and DJ who are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor plus the chance to scoop up one of the many fabulous prizes on offer through the various games, raffle, and auction.

How do I buy a ticket?

Get your friends together on tables of 10 or 12. 

When the first ticket for a table is purchased, the table will then be reserved under this name so that other members joining this party can purchase accordingly. 

​

Alternatively, if you are in a smaller group, couple or even by yourself, you are able to purchase individual tickets and you will be sat together on an allocated table. Feel free to drop us an email with any seating requests.

Can I pre-order wine?

Yes, wine (and water) is available to pre-order at a discounted price.

We would highly encourage you to pre-order your wine, as not only will this save you money but it will also save time for you  (and us) on the evening and helps the event run smoothly.

Can I park?

There will be plenty of space to park on site, which will be signposted. You are welcome to park your car and leave it overnight and the gates will be open in the morning for you to collect it.

 

If you are parking in the village please be considerate to all.

 

 

 

Can I pay by credit card on the night?

We hope to provide a credit card machine, but please don’t rely on this as it is dependent on mobile phone reception which is not always consistent in the village. We would therefore prefer you brought plenty of cash as there will be games and a fully stocked bar and we wouldn’t want you to miss out!  Please note that we do not have the facilities to withdraw cash on site or locally.

 

 

Where does the money raised on the night go?

The Much Hadham Summer Ball is held each year to raise funds for the Much Hadham Pre-School. This will be the 26th ball, the first was held to generate revenue to allow the Pre-School building to be built. The Pre-School is a registered charity (No 298642) and is administered by a committee of volunteers. The Much Hadham Summer Ball is the charity’s main fundraiser and helps to maintain the building and update equipment. Pre-School owes much to the fantastic generosity of the attendees of the ball.

 

 

Who are ‘We’?
We are the 2024 Ball Committee.

We are a small group of people who have given up some of our free (and more specifically childfree!) time to try to bring you a wonderful evening. All we want is for you to have a great time and hopefully to also make a little money for the preschool and the village. We welcome constructive helpful feedback and ideas so please do contact us with any and otherwise please be kind and bear with us!
